| Born in Winnipeg in 1986, Tessa Armstrong was raised on the Prairies until age ten when the family moved to Victoria. Dancing became an immediate passion in her life and that same passion is carried through into the creative ability of her hands. Tessa has always been drawn to mediums that require a more full body approach, from the dance to woodworking, ceramics, sewing and papier mache. Realizing the need for arts in her life, Tessa began her studies in the Textile Arts Diploma program at Capilano College in north Vancouver in 2005, receiving her diploma in 2007 along with two scholarships to further both her textile and dance related passions. |
