RBC Investments Canadian Painting Competition

Each year, we join together as art lovers and patrons to celebrate the talent of emerging visual artists in Canada. Celebrating its sixth year, the Canadian Painting Competition, sponsored by RBC Investments® and in partnership with the Canadian Art Foundation, is a tribute to Canada's artistic talent. With semi-finalists selected from regions across the country, their artwork represents a significant contribution to Canada's rich cultural heritage.

In March of 2004 RBC will be presenting a retrospective exhibition at the Elliott Louis Gallery in Vancouver, which is both a celebration of past competitions and winners, as well as the launch of their sixth annual event. Five winning pieces from previous competitions—which are now part of RBC's permanent contemporary art collection—will be on display, along with additional works by the winning artists and other entrants.
